Job summary

Club One Casino is seeking a dish duties associate to maintain a clean, organized station and ensure sanitation standards. You will respond to kitchen requests, handle equipment safely, and manage storage, labeling and dating of items.

Responsibilities include keeping floors clean in all areas, following ServSafe guidelines, and performing any additional duties as assigned by management. Must be 21+, with valid California food handling certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Card Room work permit required.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current California Food Handler Card or ServSafe certificate.

• Use caution when handling plates, glass, and silverware to reduce breakage.
• Organize food storage, receiving area, stocking, labeling and dating.
• Keep floors (including walk‑in coolers) free of water, grease or obstacles.
• Keep rubbish areas clean and assist with recycling organization.
• Use sanitizer bucket and fresh towels and follow ServSafe standards.
• Complete continuing education or training as directed by management.
• Any other reasonable duties assigned in the future.

Job Summary:

• Maintain a clean and organized dish station.


• Make sure soap, sanitizer and rinse functions are working properly.


• Respond promptly to all requests by kitchen staff.


• Operate equipment safely and notify management of improper operation or breakage.


• Use caution when handling plates, glass, and silverware to reduce breakage or inadvertent disposal of utensils.


• Organize food storage and receiving area, stocking, rotating, labeling, dating and covering.


• Keep all floors (including walk-in coolers) free of standing water, grease or obstacles.


• Keep rubbish areas clean sanitized and helps to maintain organization of all recycled rubbish.


• Use sanitizer bucket and fresh towels and adhere to ServSafe standards.


• Complete continuing education or training as directed by management.


• Any and all other reasonable duties that may be assigned in the future.

Essential Job Skills:

• Ability to lift and carry sacks, boxes, product up to 25 pounds from floor to above waist level, approx. 20 ft and sometimes involving stairs.


• Ability to stand or walk during entire shift.


• Ability to work at a continuous high pace while maintaining quality standards.


• Reading and understanding English required.


• Works closely with other staff members, often in confined areas.


• Meets all health department and ServSafe standards for safe food handling.


• Able to work at approx. 36” and reach in approx. 36”.


• Must reach (6” to overhead) bend, stoop and wipe.


• Must have experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including but not limited to knives, slicer, mixer, salamander, stoves, ovens, Hobart mixer, and broiler.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.


• Card Room work permit.


• High school diploma or equivalent.


• Current California Food Handler Card or ServSafe Certificate.
