Job summary

Partnership Resources, Inc. is seeking a part-time Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities in our day program in Minneapolis, MN.

This entry-level role focuses on providing flexible, hands-on support with activities in a classroom setting. As a DSP - Assistant, you will assist with recreation, leisure and skill-building activities and accompany individuals on field trips, helping them connect with the community.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; entry-level DSP role.
• Multilingual candidates encouraged (Spanish, Hmong, Somali, Oromo or ASL).
• Background check with MN Department of Human Services required; must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist with recreation, leisure and skill-building activities in a collaborative setting (BINGO, karaoke, music therapy, etc.).
• Accompany individuals on field trips and community activities to support inclusion.
• Use person-centered strategies to help individuals achieve goals and self-advocate.
