Job summary

Friendly Connections is seeking compassionate Direct Support Professionals to help individuals with disabilities and seniors live more independently across New Jersey. This role offers about 10 hours per week, with a schedule Mon 4-6pm, Tue 9-1pm, Wed 9-1pm, and in-person work.

You will accompany clients into the community, provide companionship and support, and collaborate with a responsive management team.

Qualifications

• Must love working with and helping people.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities or seniors.
• 21 years of age or older; valid driver's license; reliable vehicle.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to comply with state regulations and agency requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals in achieving greater independence and community involvement.
• Assist with life skills development, communication, technology use, and social engagement.
• Provide job coaching and employment support when needed.
• Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality.
