Job summary

Stride Services, part of the Institute for Disability Research, Policy & Practice at Utah State University, is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with disabilities in Cache Valley. You will support daily living activities, transportation, and community participation in a compassionate team environment.

Candidates must be available 2 to 4 days per week, Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Qualifications

• Valid Utah driver’s license required to perform essential duties such as transporting clients and driving university vehicles.
• Exceptional listener and communicator; ability to convey information clearly in writing and verbally.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing assignments.

Responsibilities

• Must be willing to toilet, feed, transfer, transport and otherwise care for people with disabilities.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.
