Job summary

Allegro Harrington Park in Harrington Park, NJ is hiring a part-time Dining Server for day shifts with no late nights. The server attends to residents and guests during dining, delivering friendly, timely service and maintaining a clean dining room.

Areas of responsibility include greeting and seating, serving efficiently, clearing tables, delivering and retrieving trays, labeling food, and upholding safety and sanitation.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must havepositive Criminal Background Screening.
• The Community is a drug free workplace; associates are subject to adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
• Food serving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner as well as approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
• Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
