Job summary

Resort Lifestyle Communities (RLC) in Madison, WI is seeking a Part-Time Server to craft meaningful dining experiences for residents. You will support both Casual and Fine Dining, greet guests, take orders, and ensure smooth service in a caring community environment.

No prior work experience is required; you will be guided by a collaborative team and can obtain food handler permits within two weeks of hire. This is a part-time role with perks and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Ability to secure required food handler permits within two weeks of hire.

Responsibilities

• Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
• Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, taking orders, and serving courses.
• Keep the dining room clean by clearing and resetting tables, handling dishes, refilling water, and setting tables.
• Help keep things organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and performing other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager when needed.
• Assist with additional tasks and support work as assigned by supervisors.

• Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, carefully handling dishes, filling and refilling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
• Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
• Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.
