Episcopal Homes of Minnesota is seeking a dependable Culinary Aide in Saint Paul to support dining services for residents. You will set up the dining room, assist with meal selections, serve beverages, and help with meal service while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen and dining area.

The role requires strong customer service, English proficiency, and the ability to work well with others, including flexibility for evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an eighth-grade education.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work effectively with others.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English required to ensure safe patient care, accurately document in medical records, and communicate with patients and care team.

Responsibilities

• Set up the dining room before meals.
• Assist residents with meal selections and meal delivery.
• Serve beverages and help with meal service.
• Clear tables and dishes after meals.
• Keep food, beverages, utensils, and supplies stocked.
• Clean and sanitize tables, dining areas, and food preparation areas.
• Reset the dining room for the next meal.
• Operate the dishwasher and clean dishes, trays, glasses, cups, and silverware.
• Put away clean dishes and food service items.
• Help keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and safe.
• Work with the culinary team to provide a good dining experience for residents.
