DGST U101 examines the role of digital technologies in everyday communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 18 graduate credit hours in Digital Studies, Communication, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of teaching experience in online and/or in-person settings.
• Preferred: Master’s degree or Ph.D. in Communication or a related field with emphasis on digital media and experience teaching introductory or general education courses.

Responsibilities

• Teach DGST U101: Introduction to Digital Studies.
• May teach additional courses within the Communication program.
• Address topics such as digital media tools, online identity, data privacy, and ethical implications in class discussions.
