Job Overview

We are hiring immediately for a Part-Time Clinical Dietitian position.

Requirements: Must be registered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible.

Pay Range: $33.65-$45.67/hour

Job Details

Seeking a Part-Time Clinical Dietitian (Hourly, 16–24 hrs/wk) to join our nutrition team at Providence Saint John’s Health Center in Santa Monica, CA. Responsibilities include providing inpatient medical nutrition therapy in areas such as Oncology, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Diabetes, GI, Renal, Liver, Maternity, and Critical Care, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

1. Provide medical nutrition therapy including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
2. Follow all guidelines within the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including HIPAA and patient rights policies.
4. Train and mentor patient services staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participate in patient satisfaction programs, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
• State licensure where required.
• Preferred: One year of hospital experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, and nutrient analysis software.
