Job summary

Cura Hospitality is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian for our Meadowbrook, PA healthcare team. You will assess nutritional needs of patients/residents, implement interventions, and improve quality of life in line with patient goals. Typical schedule is 24 hours per week, onsite at Holy Redeemer Hospital Meadowbrook Campus.

Ideal candidates hold a nutrition degree, a current state license, and CDR exam eligibility, with prior healthcare or long-term care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nutrition (prior to 2024) or related field.
• Master's degree in Nutrition or related field.
• Passed a national examination administered by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) or meets eligibility.
• Completes 75 hours of continuing education every five years per CDR.
• Licensed or certified, per state requirements.
• Knowledge of regulation standards for assessments, care planning, and residents’ rights.
• Ability to teach others pertaining to nutrition and dietetics.

Responsibilities

• Provide nutritional expertise to health care team and educate patients/residents, staff, or consultants.
• Follow Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics standards and facility regulatory requirements.
• Interact with other departments to set up procedures affecting dining services and nutrition.
• Participate in development, review, and revision of continuous quality improvement programs.
