Position Title: Part Time Dietitian - Fountain Valley, CA

Reports To: Clinical Nutrition Manager

Location: Morrison Healthcare at Fountain Valley Regional

Salary: $40-$45/hr

Job Details: Seeking an RD able to work 8-16 hours most weeks, primarily on Fridays for clinical in-patient coverage. Cross-training for weekend rotations will be provided, with at least 1 weekend/month. Saturday coverage is on-site from 8AM-4PM; Sundays are on-call. Facility has 400 licensed beds.

Role Responsibilities:

1. Provide medical nutrition therapy, including assessment, diet modification, education, and intervention.
2. Follow all guidelines outlined in the Company Diet Manual and Clinical Nutrition Policies & Procedures Manual.
3. Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, HIPAA, and patient rights policies.
4. Train and mentor staff and interns as applicable.
5. Participate in patient satisfaction, departmental meetings, and quality improvement programs.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Dietitian credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR).
2. State licensure where required.
3. Preferred: 1 year hospital experience.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, electronic medical records, diet office systems, and nutrient analysis software.
