Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian to support inpatient services at McLaren Flint Hospital in Flint, Michigan. This role offers health benefits, PTO, some remote flexibility, and reimbursement for professional fees within Sodexo’s Career Ladder.

Responsibilities include delivering Nutrition Care Process-based care, counseling patients and staff, collaborating across disciplines, and participating in quality improvement initiatives within a level III trauma center environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines.
• Or, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nutrition care for patients and residents using the Nutrition Care Process.
• Serve as nutrition resource across teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Provide evidence-based nutrition counseling to patients and staff.
• Maintain professional practices aligned with regulatory standards and Sodexo client commitments.
• Lead or participate in performance improvement initiatives to improve outcomes and efficiency.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and contribute to training or research.

Pay Range

• Education Requirement: – Master’s degree in nutrition, dietetics, or related field with required coursework and supervised practice per ACEND guidelines – OR, for those eligible prior to 1/1/2024: Bachelor’s degree meeting ACEND requirements.

• Related Experience: 0-3 years
• Credentials Requirement: – Meets eligibility for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) via CDR and will become registered within 120 days of hire – Must meet state licensure/certification requirements at time of hire where applicable
