Job summary

Aventura Health Group in Prospect Park is seeking a Part time Cook to assist the Food Services Director with food service activities. The position requires culinary training and at least six months of relevant experience. Working hours are varied, primarily from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.

The ideal candidate will supervise dietary staff, ensure quality food production, and assist in menu planning, while maintaining high standards of sanitation and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months related experience or equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Must have Serve Safe or Food Handler certification every 5 years.
• Ability to handle kitchen tools and equipment.
