Job summary

Senior Lifestyle Corporation is seeking a part-time Dining Services Aide to support meal service and dining operations. You will assist with room service, meal tray setup, and ensuring accurate portions and diet requirements for residents.

Responsibilities include helping cooks, stocking supplies, and maintaining sanitation in dining areas. The role reports to the Director of Dining Services and requires a high school diploma and Serv Safe or equivalent certification.

Qualifications

• Level of Formal Education: High School Diploma.
• Years of Experience: Entry Level (0-3 Years).
• Type of Experience: Food Service or Hospitality.
• Special Certifications: Serv Safe or equivalent certification.
• Language Skills: Clear verbal communication with residents and staff.
• Skills and Ability: Basic cooking, service techniques, attention to safety and nutrition.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals and assist with room service and dining area service.
• Set up, deliver, and verify meal trays and dining areas.
• Assist cooks with menu items and stock supplies.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies in food preparation.
• Adhere to therapeutic diets and resident nutrition preferences.
• Maintain clean work areas and proper beverage and food handling.
• Attend required training and staff meetings.
