Job description

Northridge Apartments, a 64-unit luxury senior apartment community, is seeking a dependable and caring part-time Dietary Aide to join our team. In this role, you'll support food service operations, help prepare and serve meals, and ensure a safe, clean environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with meal preparation and food service under the direction of dietary supervisors.
  • Serve meals that are visually appealing and meet nutritional standards.
  • Follow portion control procedures and safety/sanitation protocols.
  • Clean kitchen areas and equipment, including dishwashing duties.
  • Transport food trays and carts to designated areas.
  • Monitor food supplies and assist with inventory and storage.
  • Create a welcoming dining environment for residents.
  • Comply with all infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or have a valid work permit.
  • No previous experience required-on-the-job training is provided!
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English clearly.
  • Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Physically able to push, pull, move, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Part-time - Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - 7:30 PM
