Job summary

Cityview Healthcare & Rehabilitation is seeking a Culinary Aide to assist in meal preparation and food service within our assisted living communities in Cleveland. You will help ensure residents receive nutritious, tailored meals and maintain kitchen and dining area cleanliness.

Starting pay is $14.25 per hour. The typical schedule is (2-3) eight-hour shifts per week with an every-other-weekend rotation; specific schedules will be discussed during interview.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the culinary field or food service preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations is essential.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas.
• Support cooks and dietary aides in food preparation tasks as needed.
• Ensure proper food handling and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Help with bussing tables and cleaning up after meals to maintain a pleasant dining experience.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure smooth operations.
