Job summary

Minnewaska Community Health Services is seeking a part-time Dietary Aide to assist with meal preparation and service at Country View Senior Living. The role requires following resident diets, policies, and dietary guidelines, and collaborating with the Executive Director and dietitian to ensure accurate meals.

Responsibilities include menu development, food preparation, inventory, safety, and sanitation, with dementia training requirements and adherence to health regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Must be able to follow directions and perform assigned tasks.
• Must complete 4hrs of Dementia training within 160 hours of start of employment and 2 hours annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Develop menus with the Executive Director.
• Review menus prior to preparation of food.
• Prepare regular and special diets as prescribed by the resident’s physician.
• Ensure all dietary procedures are followed and meals are served on time.
• Assist in cleaning, stocking, and inventory of food supplies.
