Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a Part-Time Dialysis Technician to join our team, providing safe dialysis under supervision in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting.

You will perform patient care, monitor vitals, operate dialysis machines, and document treatments while maintaining a clean, compliant environment. This role supports excellent patient care and collaborative teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Current CPR Certification or ability to obtain before starting.
• Minimum 2 years dialysis technician experience.
• Dialysis certification required.
• Ishihara color vision test may be required.
• Ability to meet physical demands and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse, initiating and discontinuing dialysis per orders.
• Monitor pre- and post-treatment vitals, weight, and vascular access, reporting anomalies.
• Set up, operate, and perform safety checks on hemodialysis machines; administer heparin per state law.
• Accurately document treatment details and prepare laboratory specimens.
• Deliver excellent service to patients and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

The Part-Time Dialysis Technician functions as part of the hemodialysis health care team in providing safe and effective dialysis therapy for patients.
