Job summary

Concerto Renal Services is seeking a Part-Time Dialysis Nurse to join its team in Evanston, IL. You will supervise dialysis care, work hands-on with patients, and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate treatment.

Responsibilities include direct hemodialysis care, patient education, and ensuring accurate documentation and regulatory compliance. A nursing degree, RN license, and BLS are required, with dialysis experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current State RN license or Compact license.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience in any practice area.
• Minimum of three months of dialysis experience.
• BLS Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct hemodialysis care, performs assessments, administers medications, and educates patients on renal health and self-care.
• Delegates tasks to dialysis technicians, supervises their performance, and ensures compliance with clinical standards and regulations.
• Monitors patient response to dialysis, adjusts treatment plans as needed, and ensures accurate documentation of interventions and outcomes.
• Works closely with physicians and the healthcare team to coordinate care and report critical lab results.
• Maintains accurate electronic medical records, ensures timely completion of care plans, and adheres to safety and regulatory protocols.
