Job summary

Saint Joseph Health System in Mishawaka, IN is seeking a part-time Ultrasonography Technologist to perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasound procedures, relay critical findings to physicians, and monitor patients during exams.

The ideal candidate will have completed 2–3 years of radiologic/ultrasound education and hold ARRT/ARDMS/CCI credentials (registry-eligible candidates must obtain status within 3 years); CPR certification is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of 2–3 years of professional education beyond high school in radiologic technology, ultrasonography, or related field.
• ARRT/ARDMS/CCI or equivalent certification; registry eligible candidates must obtain registry status within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures and provide data for physician diagnosis and treatment.
• Relate pertinent clinical information to interpreting physicians and observe patients during procedures for abnormalities.
