Georgia Northwestern Technical College is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonography Clinical Lab Adjunct (part‑time) to be located on the Floyd County Campus. The position requires on‑campus presence with travel to other campuses as needed for operations.

Reporting to the Dean, the role includes assisting instructors, scheduling rotations, grading, and overseeing safety, attendance, and student progress. This part‑time assignment offers hands‑on teaching in a clinical lab setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified education and experience with appropriate credentials for the concentration.
• Current national credentials in Abdomen and OB.
• 2 years clinical experience as a registered sonographer.

Responsibilities

• Schedule student clinical rotation at various clinical sites.
• Visit clinical facilities to check student progress and verification of participation.
• Assist faculty with classroom instruction, exams, record keeping, safety procedures, attendance and related tasks.
• Tutor or mentor students.
• Perform laboratory research.
• Clean labs as needed.
• Obtain materials for classes, including texts and other materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
