Job summary

Lone Star College-Creekside Center is seeking an adjunct faculty member to teach Developmental English and other courses as part of a dynamic teaching team. Classes are offered day, evening and weekend across multiple locations in the Woodlands and surrounding areas.

As an adjunct (part-time) faculty member, you will plan and deliver instruction, assess student learning, and support the college mission of accessible, high-quality education for a diverse student body.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in English, literature, or related field; or Master’s degree in the same areas.
• Teaching or training experience in English or education fields preferred.
• Commitment to student learning and service.

Responsibilities

• Teaches Developmental English courses at various times and locations.
• Plan, develop and teach courses within the curriculum.
• Provide student feedback and meet with students as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with students and colleagues.
• Participate in faculty meetings and trainings.
