Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High School/GED or 12 college hours with C or better.
• Must be able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control inmates during booking, holdover, identification, confinement, and release.
• Fingerprints, photos, and recording of information; maintain inmate safety and security.
• Classify and identify inmates using fingerprint comparison.
• Escort inmates to court, housing units, or transfer points.
• Oversee inmate meals, clothing, cleanliness, and general sanitation.
