Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a Dessert Cart Attendant for Chicago-area events, including stadium games and concerts, to provide an elevated guest experience. This part-time, event-based role pays $22.00 per hour plus tips and involves operating a mobile dessert cart in suites, stocking items, taking orders, and processing payments.

Candidates must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification and demonstrate excellent guest service, attention to detail, and the ability to move a cart

Qualifications

• Must hold a current ServSafe Food Handling Certification.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills for VIP guests.
• Strong attention to detail and polished appearance.
• Experience in food service, hospitality, or sales is a plus but not required.
• Ability to push or maneuver a mobile cart through crowded suite areas.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all dessert items for assigned cart prior to guest arrival.
• Operate a mobile dessert cart in suite areas and showcase desserts to guests.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner and make recommendations.
• Keep the cart stocked, clean, and visually appealing throughout events.
• Handle dessert orders and payments accurately with proper record-keeping.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and ensure item quality and safety.
• Assist with restocking and cleaning after events.
