Job summary

Oregon State University’s AMT department in Bend is hiring five part-time Student RADlab Workers (Student Design Assistant). You will design print materials and digital assets, support marketing projects, and collaborate with the campus design team to reflect OSU branding.

You will gain hands-on experience, build a portfolio, and develop career-ready design skills in a supportive environment. Position is on-site in Bend, Oregon.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe design software: Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software: Word, PowerPoint.
• Understanding of basic principles of design and typography.
• Good time management skills, ability to handle multiple projects at once.
• Commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity.
• Ability to accept and apply constructive feedback.
• Creative vision and the ability to advocate for your ideas.

Responsibilities

• Concept, draft and design print materials.
• Work collaboratively with the marketing & communications team to ensure designs meet client needs and align with OSU branding.
• Generate visual assets via design, illustration, photography, video or animation.
• Complete administrative tasks (digital asset organization, records, office upkeep).
