Job summary

Flagler County Sheriff's Office is seeking a Law Enforcement Deputy Part-Time (Civil) to serve in the neighborhoods of Flagler County, operating within a community-oriented and intelligence-led policing framework. Deputies act under color of the Sheriff and provide services that support agency programs with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED recognized by the state.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Must be Florida certified in Law Enforcement.
• Must not have felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement.
• Must not have been dishonorably discharged from the Armed Forces.
• Must have a valid Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serves writs, warrants, summonses, and civil papers.
• Demonstrates knowledge and skills needed to affect legal and proper service of process.
• Follows Florida law in the service of all process, including out-of-state.
