Job summary

Flaglersheriff is seeking a Current Florida Sworn Law Enforcement Officer to provide essential law enforcement services in Flagler County. Candidates must hold a Florida Law Enforcement Certification and demonstrate integrity and professionalism in high-pressure situations.

The role involves responding to community needs through policing and requires compliance with agency standards. A High School diploma or equivalent is necessary, alongside the ability to obtain a Florida driver’s licence and a clean felony record.

Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain a valid Florida driver’s license.
• Graduation from High School or possession of a High School Equivalency Diploma recognized by the State of Florida.
• Must not have been convicted of any felony or misdemeanor involving perjury or false statement.
• Must not have received a dishonorable or general discharge from any branch of the Armed Forces.

Responsibilities

• Provide law enforcement service in the neighborhoods of Flagler County.
• Operate within a work environment driven by community and intelligence lead policing.
• Act under the authority of the Sheriff without close supervision.
