Job summary

The University of Minnesota School of Dentistry is seeking a part-time Community Outreach and Engagement Adjunct Clinical Faculty to oversee, teach, and direct pre-doctoral students in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of patients in clinics affiliated with the School of Dentistry.

This role supports Group Leaders in evaluating clinical and professional development, attends the Annual Outreach Dental Review, and may work at Minneapolis-based clinics, the

Qualifications

• DDS, DMD or equivalent degree required.
• License to practice dentistry in the relevant state or Federal system.
• In good standing with the Board of Dentistry in respective state or licensure for Federal appointments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, teach, and direct pre-doctoral students in comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and management of patients.
• Support Group Leaders from the School of Dentistry in evaluating clinical and professional development of students.
• Attend the Annual Outreach Dental Review to stay updated on policies, teaching methods and best practices.
• Physical teaching location depends on division needs and may include Minneapolis-based clinics or mobile clinics.
