42North Dental, a patients-first practice in Pennsylvania, seeks a Dentist to deliver comprehensive care from exams and treatment planning to delivering care. The in-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role is part-time with a schedule that includes two Saturdays per month, 7AM-12PM. The position emphasizes ongoing education, mentorship, and collaboration within a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license is required.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B is required.
• Malpractice insurance proof is required.
• BLS/CPR certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Explain treatment options and engage patients in decision making.
• Maintain and update patients' dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor dental and jaw development.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting structures.
• Maintain high-quality standards of care and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
