Job summary

42 North Dental in Hollidaysburg, PA is seeking a Part-time General Dentist to join a practice that delivers comprehensive care, including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. You’ll work 2–3 days per week with an 8 AM–5 PM or 10 AM–7 PM schedule, and you’ll earn a daily guarantee or a percentage of collections up to 36%.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
