Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will provide comprehensive clinical care from exams to treatment planning, including in-house specialties. Expect a steady flow of patients and opportunities for CE participation.

The role emphasizes delivering high-quality care, maintaining records, and collaborating with a team in a supportive environment. Prior licensing and BLS/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care and professional ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and best practices through CE.

Education

DMD or DDS degree
