Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice. The Dentist is responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment plan to delivery of care, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day - Two Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM. We offer a daily rate of $750–$900 USD, 401K, continuing education and mentorship within a supportive network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and various treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient’s oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues in the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
