Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience—from initial exam to delivery of care. Our established practice welcomes a steady stream of new patients monthly, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The Dentist will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients on treatment options, and create comprehensive treatment plans while maintaining high standards of care and ethics

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and best practices.

Education
