Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our growing practice. The Dentist will manage the full patient experience from exam to care delivery, with in-office specialty services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

A steady flow of new patients supports this established practice, with a focus on high-quality care. The role emphasizes comprehensive treatment planning, patient education, and collaboration with a network of doctors.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
