Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a Dentist to provide comprehensive dental care including exams, treatment planning, and delivery of care. The practice offers in-office specialty services and a strong focus on continuing education and mentorship within a collaborative network of doctors.

The position is part-time, with a schedule from Labor Day to Memorial Day and two Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM, offering a daily rate of $750–$900 USD.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and maintain patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program
