Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a Dentist to join our established practice, delivering comprehensive care from initial exam to treatment across in-office specialties including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Part-time schedule: Two Saturdays per month, 7AM–12PM.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret X-rays and diagnostics.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep up with developments and continuing education.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (CODA-accredited)

State license to practice dentistry

Hepatitis B vaccination
