42North Dental in Belvidere, NJ, seeks a part-time Dentist to lead the patient care experience from exam to treatment delivery, including in-office specialties like periodontics and endodontics. The role offers a strong patient flow and opportunities for CE exposure with Harvard Rounds Network.

You will promote oral health, diagnose diseases, educate patients, and develop comprehensive treatment plans while maintaining records and coordinating with patients on options.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry in the applicable state.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance coverage.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and conditions.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x‑rays and tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed in the oral cavity.
• Uphold high standards of care, ethics, and professionalism.
