Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to deliver comprehensive dental care to a steady patient flow in a collaborative practice. You will manage exams, treatment planning, and coordination with specialists as needed.

The role requires a DMD or DDS, an active dental license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification. Daily rate ranges from $750 to $900, with opportunities for education and mentorship.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from a ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient's oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.

Education
