42North Dental, established to elevate dental care, seeks a part-time dentist to join a collaborative team in New Jersey. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to treatment, with in-office services across perio, endo, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

The role emphasizes prevention, patient education, and comprehensive treatment planning, with strong mentorship and a focus on high-quality care. Part-time schedule includes weekend availability and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and create treatment plans.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and maintain treatment plans to restore or maintain oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients and obtain consent.
• Maintain and update patients’ medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.

Education

DMD or DDS degree (ADA CODA accredited)

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current BLS or CPR certification
