Job summary

42 North Dental in the United States is seeking a part-time Dentist to lead the full clinical patient experience from initial exam and treatment planning to delivery of care.

In our established practice, in-office specialty services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics. Daily rate ranges from $750 to $900 USD.

We offer continuing education, mentorship, and a supportive network of doctors, with a strong commitment to ethics and high standards of care.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Vaccination documented for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality standard of care and ethics.
• Keep up with new developments and best practices.

Education

DMD or DDS degree

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
