Job summary

42North Dental in New Jersey seeks a part-time Dentist to manage the full clinical patient experience from exam to treatment delivery. In-office services include routine care and specialty referrals.

Schedule includes two Saturdays per month, 7AM-12PM, with ongoing opportunities for education and mentorship. The role requires a DDS/DMD from an ADA CODA-accredited program, current state license, Hepatitis B vaccination, malpractice insurance, and BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain highest quality standard of care.
• Maintain high ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
