Job summary

42 North Dental in Montgomery County, PA is seeking a Dentist (DMD or DDS) for a part-time position. You will manage the full patient experience from exam to care delivery, including in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Schedule: Part-Time: Labor Day - Memorial Day - Two (2) Saturdays per month from 7AM-12PM. Daily Rate $750 - $900 USD. 42NDC values a diverse workforce and encourages applicants from all backgrounds.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients.
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments, technologies, best practices and standard of care through continuing education.
