Qualifications

• DMD or DDS from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license to practice.
• Vaccination for Hepatitis B.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and interpret patient treatment options with patients.
• Maintain and update dental records and medical history.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone, and soft tissues.
• Maintain high quality, ethical standards and professionalism.
• Keep up with new developments and continuing education.
