Job summary

42North Dental in Limeport, PA is seeking a Part-Time Dentist to join an established practice and deliver high-quality patient care from initial exam to treatment. The position includes in-office specialties such as periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, with a variable weekend and per-schedule presence.

You will maintain patient records, educate patients on treatment options, and collaborate with a network of doctors to ensure excellence in care and ethics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention
• Diagnose oral diseases
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore patient health
• Review treatment plan options with patients
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues
• Maintain the highest quality standard of care for all patients
• Maintain the highest standard of ethics and professionalism
• Keep abreast of new developments through continuing education
