Job summary

42North Dental is seeking a part-time Dentist to join our established practice. You will guide the patient experience from exam to treatment and provide in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing diseases, educating patients on options, creating and reviewing treatment plans, maintaining records, interpreting x-rays, and upholding the highest standards of care and ethics.

Qualifications

• Must hold a DMD or DDS from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state dental license is required.
• Vaccination against Hepatitis B is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification must be current.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain the highest standard of care and ethics in all patient interactions.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
