Job summary

42 North Dental in New Haven, CT is seeking a part-time general dentist to join our established practice. The dentist will handle the full patient journey from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care in a team-oriented setting.

Responsibilities include promoting oral health, diagnosing and treating conditions, educating patients, and updating records. In-office services include periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients about treatment options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and maintain patient medical and dental records.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care and surgical procedures as needed.
