Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time General Dentist to join our team in Hollidaysburg, PA. You will work 2-3 days per week, from 8AM-5PM or 10AM-7PM, with a daily guarantee or a 36% collection share.

The role encompasses full clinical patient care, from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care in a multi-specialty practice. The Dentist will collaborate on in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics, while upholding high standards of ethics and

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA-accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Hepatitis B vaccination documentation.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• BLS or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create and review treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues.
• Maintain high standards of care, ethics and professionalism.

Education

DMD or DDS degree from a university-based dental education program accredited by the ADA CODA

Current state license to practice dentistry

Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination

Proof of malpractice insurance

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification
