42 North Dental in New Haven, CT seeks a Part-time General Dentist to join a practice offering periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery and orthodontics. Work 3 days a week (Tue, Thu, Fri) with hours 8 AM-5 PM and a daily guarantee or up to 36% of collections.

Formación

• Must have DMD or DDS degree from ADA CODA‑accredited program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry is required.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination is required.
• Proof of malpractice insurance is required.
• Current BLS or CPR certification is required.

Responsabilidades

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review, maintain and update patients' medical and dental records.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of teeth and jaws.
• Provide proper restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity.
• Maintain the highest standard of care, ethics and professionalism.
• Keep abreast of new developments and continuing education.
