Job summary

42 North Dental in New Haven, CT is seeking a Part-time General Dentist to join our established practice. You will be responsible for the entire clinical patient experience from exam and treatment planning to delivery of care, with in-office specialties in periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, and orthodontics.

We offer a guaranteed daily rate or percentage of collections up to 36%, comprehensive benefits including health insurance, vision, 401K, CE opportunities, and flexible scheduling

Qualifications

• Provide high quality dental care and communicate treatment options to patients.
• Maintain and update patient records and treatment plans.
• Adhere to safety and infection control procedures.
• Demonstrate professionalism and ethical patient care.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases.
• Educate patients on oral health and treatment options.
• Create treatment plans to maintain or restore oral health.
• Review treatment plan options with patients.
• Review and interpret x-rays and diagnostic tests.
• Monitor growth and development of the teeth and jaws.
• Provide restorative and preventive dental care.
• Perform surgical procedures on teeth and supporting tissues.
• Maintain highest standard of care and ethics.
