Job summary

42 North Dental is seeking a part-time general dentist to join our Hollidaysburg practice. You will manage the patient experience from exam through treatment, with in-office services including periodontics, endodontics, and orthodontics as needed.

Flexible scheduling supports work‑life balance while delivering high-quality care. Ideal candidates hold a DMD/DDS, active state licensure, Hepatitis B vaccination, CPR/BLS certification, and malpractice insurance.

Qualifications

• DMD or DDS degree from an ADA CODA‑accredited dental education program.
• Current state license to practice dentistry.
• Documentation of Hepatitis B vaccination.
• Proof of malpractice insurance.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Promote oral health and disease prevention.
• Diagnose oral diseases and educate patients on options.
• Create and discuss treatment plans with patients.
• Perform restorative and preventive dental care.
• Maintain and update patient records and interpret x‑rays.

Education
